The 40.2 challenge is back!

Sorry folks…..slight technical glitch with the old site.

The servers inadvertently got switched off, and so did my website.  I can see this as either a chance to spend some quality evenings improving the content by starting over…..or a horrible waste of time.  I think I better go with the first option.

Step One: Get that list of fantastic 40.2 challenge swimmers back up… I’ll be back posting after I’ve got that sorted. Wish me luck 🙂

  1. Heya,

Am contemplating attempting this swim in the next couple of years…. Just curious regarding protocol with timing the swim etc. Would be great to hear from you.

    • Hi there,

The best person to talk to about timing protocols is Phil Rush, you can find him through his Cook Strait swim website

And you shouldn’t be talking about ‘attempting’ – you should be rewiring your mind to the word ‘completing’ – this swim is so much about mental preparation that you can’t afford to mix those two up 🙂
Lake Taupo is a beautiful place to swim – most people get the physical training right, but not all can get the mental training sorted.

      Hope that helps
